My fashion column on Friday is about Easter clothes, and my dark tale of being crammed into a bunny suit for an Easter egg hunt.
Here are some tips from Audrey Shapiro with the Burlington Coat Factory on selecting the best Easter fashions for the little ones. Note: They don’t involve rabbit suits.

Shapiro says:
Remember three things:
1. Style: Dressing up is in. The styles are beautiful dresses with elegant details of bows, ruffles, flowing layers and exquisite embroidery for girls and tailored suits and vest sets for boys with coordinating dress shirts and ties.
2. Color: Easter is all about spring.  Pastels are it this season.  For your little prince charming, pair a pant and vest set with a peach colored shirt and matching tie.  For the princess in your life, try floral prints with pinks and lilacs.
3. Affordability: Kids grow fast.  Easter is a special holiday and you don’t want to scrimp on dressing up your little ones, but you don’t want to break the bank either.
