Despite the name, American Retro is a French label. The mission: “To uncover and invent new ways to enhance personal style.”
I especially dig the Charlotte Dress, which rings true to the French chic roots. Lace is also big this season, and this dress has lace cuffs and a lace overlay.
This dress reminds me of my friend Casey, who likes to wear tunics and call them dresses. She has the most beautiful legs, so it works. This dress almost looks like a shirt. But that’s exactly why I love it. The length gives the frill and lace some edge.
