I am like Mimi from the “Drew Carey Show” and her Troll Dolls when it comes to poodles. They are everywhere around me and I think everyone would be much happier if they were surrounded by them.

I got my poodle a Mohawk.
Even weirder than giving a poodle a Mohawk is the fact that the Paw Spa did not even flinch when I requested it.
They actually asked what color I would like to dye it.
I said pink. But apparently, my very manly red poodle wasn’t game for that.

Here is a local event, further proof that dogs are really just little gods. Good one, huh?
What: Muttropolis Paws for a Cause, a benefit party to support Morris Animal Foundation’s Canine Cancer Campaign. A portion of proceeds will be donated.
When: 5-9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27.
Where: Muttropolis store at the Twenty Ninth Street mall in Boulder.
For more info: Pets will pose for roaming “pup-paw-razzi,” receive product giveaways and enjoy refreshments and free pet massages. Pet parents will be treated to food by Laudisios.

This is great news because, until now, I had no idea where to go to get my outdoor activewear in Boulder.

On another almost-related (because of the fleece) note:
Why didn’t someone tell me they make footie pajamas for dogs? Do they make these in size “poodle?”

The Web site calls it a doggie “jogging suit.”
Now, I would bet my dog’s Burberry collar that they had to Photoshop that dog’s head on this picture. Because seriously, I can’t imagine any dog standing still (i.e. not leaping hysterically trying to break free) in these things for long enough to get such a lovely and serene pose.
